Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit is a 2024 action-adventure title that was released on PC and consoles, and has since received a physical release. To celebrate Halloween, the game will be available for free on the Epic Games Store from October 30th, 2025, through November 5th, 2025. The game combines eerie 2D pixel art, spring-tingling stealth mechanics, and a story rooted in the popular Fazbear Frights book series, beckoning players into its titular ball pit to experience a journey through time and terror.

In a press statement, developer Mega Cat Studios said. “This weeklong promotion is the perfect way to cap off the spooky season. So prepare to face your fears and take the plunge into the ball pit in Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit, the critically acclaimed latest installment in the viral horror franchise.”

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit throws players into the sneakers of Oswald, a restless teen whose exploration of a dilapidated pizzeria leads him into a time-traveling nightmare. After discovering a mysterious ball pit with the power to send him into the past, Oswald must evade bloodthirsty animatronics, solve puzzles, and uncover dark secrets in a desperate attempt to save his father and the children trapped in the restaurant’s haunted history.
