Forsaken 64 is set to be the latest addition to the Nintendo 64 collection of the Nintendo Classics Switch Online catalog for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Originally released on PC & PlayStation back in April 1998, before receiving a Nintendo 64 port under the title Forsaken 64 a month later, Forsaken is a 3D first-person shooter, originally developed by Probe Entertainment before being ported to the N64 by Iguana UK. The game was originally published by the publisher Acclaim, upon on who’s imminent return we have recently reported.
Prior to this Switch Online release of Forsaken 64, the most recent release of Forsaken was a remaster of the original game by Nightdive Studios for Xbox One in 2018.
Forsaken 64 will be available to all Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers (who are old enough to play it!) from tomorrow (September 4th, 2025), via the Nintendo Classics: Mature app, on which we have previously reported, and which has previously seen the release of Mature-rated Nintendo 64 titles such as Shadow Man and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.
With its ever-increasing catalog of games for previous Nintendo formats from NES right up to GameCube, the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service really does offer great value for money for retro gamers like us!
