Gex Trilogy gets Physical

We previously reported on the launch of a trailer for Gex Trilogy, an upcoming compilation of Gex’s three platforming adventures from the 1990s.

And now, more details about Gex Trilogy have been revealed by publishers Limited Run Games, including destails of physical versions of Gex Trilogy, as well as the release date for the digital versions.

The physical editions of Gex Trilogy will include Tail Time Edition, which comes with a 7” Gex statue, a 36” inflatable Gex doll, and other premium collectibles, such as the full soundtrack CD, and trading cards, plus everything from the Classic Edition except the CD. So, if you ever wanted a three-foot tall Gex in your home, then your luck is in!

Other physical options for Gex Trilogy are the Classic Edition, which includes a steelbook, a 12”x16” Double-Sided Poster, a oundtrack Selection CD, and a retro-style Box, or the Standard Edition, which includes the game Disc/Cartridge, s case, cover, and booklet, as well as a Steam key with the PC version.
The physical editions of Gex Trilogy will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, with pre-orders running on Limited Run Games from May 9 to 6 July, with shipping due on an as yet unspecified date in 2025. But if you can’t wait that long, the digital release of Gex Trilogy is due on June 16, 2025.

As for the actual games included in Gex Trilogy, they promise to include quality of life improvements, such as Rewind and Save Anywhere features across all included titles. Additionally, Gex: Enter the Gecko and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko will support native 16:9 widescreen and have been rebuilt with full 360-degree analogue control.

The three games included in Gex Trilogy are Gex (1995), Gex: Enter the Gecko (1998), and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko (1999).
