Krush Kill ‘N Destroy is a series of RTS titles from developer Beam Software and publisher Zuggurat, released in the late 90s. The two-game series is getting a major update for its modern releases on Steam and GOG. The content packs for Kill Krush ‘N Destroy, which will now feature multiplayer support, will mean that the price of each game will rise from $6.99 to $9.99.
In addition to the restoration of multiplayer features, the new patches will introduce additional display resolutions, game balance improvements, improved support for mods, additional playable languages, and fixes to known issues with the previous releases.
In the original releases, players battled tooth, claw, and tentacle, choosing to join one of several factions as they duke it out for control of precious oil. In story campaign modes, players’ll complete dozens of missions and command more than 50 air, land, and amphibious units and advance across harsh, unforgiving, and barely hospitable terrain.
In a press statement, the publisher said. “Today, modern retro publisher Ziggurat Interactive announced that it will bring major updates to its gritty sci-fi strategy series Krush Kill ‘N Destroy nearly 20 years after the games were first released. In collaboration with a team led by talented KKND series modder Andre ‘IceReaper’ Mohren, Krush Kill ‘N Destroy Xtreme (1997) and Krush Kill ‘N Destroy 2: Krossfire (1998) will add modern online PvP multiplayer to Steam and GOG.”
