Mighty S. Fighters Fights its Way onto Amstrad CPC this Sunday

Amstrad CPC homebrew developers GGP announced their Street Fighter 2-influenced Mighty S. Fighters project a while back, and now the game will finally be released as a downloadable ROM this Sunday (December 22, 2024), available to download via the developer’s itch.io page.

As well as drawing (rather blatant) influence from Street Fighter 2 (albeit in a chibi style), the developers also cite SNK Vs. Capcom and 90s movies as influences on the game.

Mighty S. Fighters will feature eight playable characters and two bosses on 10 different settings, a training mode, three difficulty levels, and a tutorial, and the option to use either a two-button controller or a keyboard to play the game.

Mighty S. Fighters offers three levels of power of the blows: weak, normal, or strong, and the stronger the blows are, the slower they will be.

Mighty S. Fighters is for Amstrad CPC 464 and 6128 models of home computer and requires a 512K RAM expansion to run.
