Hobonichi announced that it will release more Earthbound merchandise in August 2024 to celebrate the game’s 30th anniversary. The new items will be launched alongside temporary exhibits in department stores across Japan. Hobonichi will host exhibits showcasing the game originally called Mother 2. The paid exhibit, “Secrets of Mother 2,” will be at Hobonichi’s store in Shibuya Parco from August 1, 2024, to September 8, 2024. There will also be free satellite exhibits at Tobichi Tokyo, Umeda Loft in Osaka, Sapporo Parco, and Nagoya Parco during the same time.
