Ninja Master’s, a Neo Geo fighting game originally released back in 1996, will be the next release in SNK’s Neo Geo Premium Selection range of games that re-releases Neo Geo titles on Steam, with additional new features such as online play; and galleries and jukeboxes.
Titles previously released on Steam in the Neo Geo Premium Selection line have included World Heroes Perfect; Kizuna Encounter: Super Tag Battle; and Real Bout Fatal Fury 2: The Newcomers.
And now, Ninja Master’s is set to join them. While SNK has not yet announced a release date for the Neo Geo Premium Selection edition of Ninja Master’s, you can wishlist the game on Steam now.
Although always a popular format with retro gamers, the Neo Geo does seem to be undergoing something of a renaissance of late. Neo Geo products on which we’ve reported previously have included Neo Geo compilations for Evercade (and a Super Pocket handheld), and, of course, the forthcoming Neo Geo AES+ console, and even a new online store selling Neo Geo merch, in the form of new brand Neo Geo Styles.
