New One Piece Grand Gourmet Gameplay Features Unveiled

We first reported on One Piece Grand Gourmet, the upcoming restaurant management adventure set in a unique world inspired by the beloved One Piece universe, earlier this year. Now, developer Kairsoft Inc., alongside publisher Bandai, has unveiled more of its flavourful gameplay in a brand-new trailer ahead of its launch on October 23rd, 2026. One Piece Grand Gourmet is due to release on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, App Store, and Google Play.

In this original story, a mysterious impostor version of the legendary seafaring restaurant Baratie suddenly appears, damaging the reputation of the famous establishment with overpriced dishes and disappointing service. Faced with the crisis, Luffy and Sanji decide to take matters into their own hands by opening Baratie Number Two, where players step into the role of a rookie staff member tasked with restoring the restaurant’s reputation.

The new trailer for One Piece Grand Gourmet offers an in-depth look at the variety of activities awaiting aspiring restaurateurs. Players can collect ingredients, discover recipes, and team up with Sanji to create brand-new dishes, with even Devil Fruit users occasionally lending a helping hand in the kitchen. Completed meals can then be customised with decorations and plating options, allowing players to create unique menu sets tailored to their customers’ preferences.

In One Piece Grand Gourmet, beyond cooking, players will be able to design and personalise their dream restaurant with more than 200 furniture items, creating distinctive interiors inspired by iconic locations and characters from the One Piece universe. By customising their layout and atmosphere, players can create a welcoming space that keeps customers coming back for more. As their restaurant expands, they will journey across the seas and welcome over 400 familiar characters from the One Piece series, each with their own tastes in food and décor. Fulfilling their requests will help players grow a loyal customer base, while some guests may even open their own specialty shops within the restaurant, transforming it into a lively and ever-evolving culinary destination.
