We’ve been following the release of Pixel Washer, a new pixel art cozy sim from developer Valadria and publisher Acclaim. We last reported on it when a new demo had washed up on Steam, and now there is a new gameplay trailer accompanying the news that Pixel Washer will also be released on Switch and Switch 2 later this year.
Players take on the role of Pigxel, a pixel-perfect piggy blasting grime off 40+ hand-crafted levels: parks, docks, arcades, museums, even a multiplex movie theater. Upgrade your washer, unlock rides to haul your gear from job to job (including the Pig Mobile), hunt for hidden money and baubles, and slowly restore a filthy town one job at a time.
Key features in Pixel Washer:
Wash and Restore: Use your power washer to blast away grime and bring beautiful pixel art levels back to their full glory.
Upgrade Your Arsenal: Earn money on the job and spend it on more powerful washers, new vehicles, and additional equipment.
Cozy Vibes: Relax to a chill soundtrack and satisfying sound design that make cleaning feel like a reward, not a chore.
Explore a Pixelated World: Choose from a wide variety of pixel art levels and discover the charm hiding under all that dirt.
