The game now features an additional, easier difficulty, game rebalancing, and quality of life improvements, allowing players of all ages and abilities to complete the game. We’re big fans of Platypus Reclayed and gave it a glowing review in our recent review.

“We wanted to thank our thriving community of players and modders for keeping Platypus Reclayed such an active space, with new content arriving all the time,” said Anthony Flack, Lead Game Designer at Claymatic Games. “As of now, the game has 99% positive user reviews. What can I say? There’s no accounting for taste!”

Steam users will get a special treat this Friday, the Halloweenth, with all-new spooky-themed content to ring in the holiday. This update will also include seven additional music tracks, including the fan-requested Ocean Loader 4, as well as official Steam Workshop and Modding support, featuring the addition of Lua scripting.

There was even more news on the updates, as other additions include customisable music, new high score tables, and many tweaks and improvements. This free DLC and other updates will arrive on consoles later this year. In homage to the community, the latest update also contains extensive fan art in the ever-expanding Gallery section of the game, as well as pictures from the Platypus Reclayed exhibition at the UK’s National Videogame Museum.
