Retro Gadgets Playground is a new launcher to house all the user-made retro gadgets and gizmos in the 2022 Studio Evil-developed Steam simulator, Retro Gadgets. The free update will be available on September 18th, 2025, for those who have already bought the original game. The other news for Retro Gadget fans was the announcement that more information on the long-awaited story mode for the game will be shared soon.
In a press release, publisher Evil Licorice said. “Retro Gadgets Playground is a bite-sized playground of Retro Gadgets, the sandbox coding, gadget-tinkering hit that’s created quite a buzz online. This free version allows players to play and tinker with a library of Gadgets created by players who own the full game.”
