Seablip is a pixel art pirating RPG title released on Steam in 2024. Now, developer Jardar Solli, alongside publisher Vibedy, has unveiled a new update to the game titled Castle Update. It introduces a new mode that will have pirates attacking land bases, as well as other massive content updates for players. A test version of Castle Update had already been released, but now players are awaiting the official version.

In a press statement, Videby said. “Solo developer Jardar Solli today revealed a new teaser trailer of Seablip, the upcoming Castle Update at the Best Indie Games Winter Showcase, offering fans a first look at castle battles, companion crewmates, and a major enemy rebalance. In celebration of this announcement, Seablip is currently 10% off until the 8th December – so claim yer loot and set sail while the winds favor ye!”

Players will be able to craft their own castle at the home island workbench, choose a loyal crewmate to follow them on adventures, and face off against 26 enemy castles belonging to the Bluecoats, Redcoats, and Pirates – including 5 legendary challenges for those seeking the ultimate test of their pirate skills.
