A Japanese retro game fan, known as Mugen_kai on Twitter/X, is celebrating collecting the entire library of Sega Saturn titles in the NTSC-J region. The feat has taken over five years and includes over 700 games. The collection includes all the retail versions of the games, although there are still several budget re-releases that could be added, according to the post.

In the post, Mugen_kai said. “It was my goal, Sega Saturn software complete, I did it, I did it, This will include the released titles (excluding value sets) + Saturday Collection! It took about 5 years! Thank you so much to everyone who helped and supported us!”

The bio on Mugen_Kai’s account tells us everything we need to know about why Saturn is so special to them. “I’m from the original Famicom generation. I’ve completed my goal of getting the Sega Saturn game! I love Megami Tensei, Tower of Druaga, and EVE. I’m a casual collector of Famicom and Sega Saturn games.”

The Sega Saturn has been celebrating 30 years since it first released in Japan in November 1994, with the Western release coming in May 1995. What a great way to celebrate the 30th anniversary year with a fantastic collection becoming complete.
