Shadow Gangs is an indie title originally released for the Dreamcast in 2022, which was later ported to modern systems. Since then, a sequel, Shadow Gangs Zero, has been in development following a successful crowdfunding campaign. Now, publisher PixelHeart has joined with developer JKM Corps to rerelease the original Dreamcast game. The new print run is now available for pre-order, with an expected shipping date of around November 7, 2025.
There are three designs to choose from: an NTSC-J style case, an NTSC-U case, or a PAL large case. The Japanese and American versions are not limited, but those wanting the PAL one need to act fast, as it is limited to 1,000 copies. This limited edition also includes a certificate from PixelHeart to confirm its limited nature, and all versions have a reversible manual cover.
