SuperGroupies, a Japanese fashion brand, has launched a range of three watches based around three of Sega’s best-loved retro consoles.
SuperGroupies’ Sega watches are available in a choice of three models: Sega Mega Drive, Sega Saturn, and Sega Dreamcast.
The Mega Drive watch features a cartridge slot at the 12 o’clock position on the dial, a reset button at 3 o’clock, and the console’s “16-BIT” lettering at 6 o’clock. Also, the Mega Drive logo is engraved on the indexes, and a control pad at the bottom of the dial.
Meanwhile, the Sega Saturn watch features the Sega Saturn logo at 12 o’clock, reset button at 3 o’clock, and th power button at 9 o’clock, with an open button in the center, and the buttons from the Saturn‘s control pad are also featured on the dial.
Completing the set, the Sega Dreamcast watch features a A silver metal band designed to exude a futuristic vibe, in keeping with that of the beloved 128-bit console, with a dial that’s primarily ivory in color, with disc doors at the 12 o’clock position. An open button is placed at 3 o’clock, and a power button at 9 o’clock, and the controller buttons are placed at the bottom of the screen.
Each watch comes in a a box with an original design that has been inspired by the designs of the original boxes of each respective console, and each of the Sega watches costs ¥27,500.
superGroupies’ Sega watches are currently in the “early reservation” preorder phase, which opened today (August 5, 2026) on the SuperGroupies website,, , and which will run until August 31, 2026, with the watches set to ship in early February 2027.
