Taki Udon has officially unveiled the SuperStation One, an FPGA-based gaming console designed to replicate the original PlayStation experience with modern enhancements. Pre-orders for the console are now open as of January 25, 2025, starting at $149.99 for the Founder’s Edition (now sold out) and $179.99 for the standard version. Shipments are expected to begin in Q4 2025 or earlier.

The SuperStation One is region-free and supports playing backups of PS1 games as well as ROMs for other systems via MiSTer cores. It does not come with built-in games or copyrighted material but allows loading games via SD card or USB drive. The optional SuperDock accessory will expand its capabilities further.
Pre-orders are available on Retro Remake’s website, with a limit of two units per order. The console is offered in three colors: black, gray, and translucent blue.
This marks Taki Udon’s first major hardware release under Retro Remake, following his success with DIY retro gaming kits. The SuperStation One is poised to be a game-changer in the retro gaming community by combining affordability, accuracy, and versatility.
