The Hole Keeper is a new first-person horror title inspired by the early days of 3D PlayStation titles such as Alien Trilogy, Resident Evil, and Silent Hill. A new trailer accompanies a brand new demo before the game launches on Steam later in 2025. In a press statement, solo developer OldYacht describes what players can expect. “You are the chosen one to serve the Holy Hole, feed it, clean it, perform the rituals. The fate of all humanity lies in your hands”.
Polden Publishing is publishing the game, and said. “Hole Keeper is a new PSX horror with a suffocating atmosphere that engulfs you from the very first minutes. What seems familiar quickly turns into something terrifyingly different. Your choices lead to multiple endings. Will you uncover the truth, or will you be lost in the darkness? It all depends on you and your actions.”
This game is a profound statement on religion, the modern world, and the corporations that control it. The developer feels it represents his personal experience and perception of what he sees happening in the world today.
