We’ve been following the journey of classic beat ‘em-up Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons closely here at Retro News. The latest announcement from the Secret Base developed brawler is that two new characters are available in a new DLC pack. The two new characters are free to download for existing players. For anyone new to the game, Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is out now on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
To celebrate the new characters, Publisher Maximum Entertainment has put a 65% sale on the Steam and Switch versions. In a statement, the publisher said. “Maximum Entertainment, alongside developer Secret Base, announces that the beloved beat ‘em up Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is expanding its roster today with another two brand-new playable characters in a free DLC pack. This is the second character pack to be added to the hit game this year, with the first two DLC characters, Jeff and Abore, launching this past April.”
