Verho: Curse of Faces is a first-person fantasy title from developer Kasur Games and publisher CobraTekku Games, released on Steam in 2025. After we reported on the release, it won over the Steam player base with a fresh take on the popular dark fantasy RPG genre, inspired by the classic King’s Field. Now, console gamers will also be able to set out for the land of Yariv when it releases on PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch on July 30th, 2026, priced at $24.99.
The 32-bit era inspires the visual presentation, with the deliberate use of low-poly models and rough textures; the game captures the nostalgic PlayStation 1 aesthetic. These intentional technical limitations reinforce the game’s oppressive atmosphere and give it a unique identity. It will also include a new update to the game that adds more content and fixes.
