Xeno Crisis is out now on GBA

We’ve been following the fantastic news that Bitmap Bureau’s brilliant retro shooter Xeno Crisis is heading to Game Boy Advance. Well, the critically acclaimed game is out on Nintendo’s handheld now and to celebrate Bitmap Bureau have put out a new unboxing video to show the release off. The game is available in three region varieties, Europe, USA and Japan, each designed in the style of its respective packaging from when the GBA was current.

The video shows the beautiful box art, the colour manuals and the all-important carts. All the carts are region-free and will work on any GBA, GBA SP and GB Micro handheld as well as after-market devices such as Analogue Pocket. Furthermore, any purchase of a physical cart will also come with access to a downloadable ROM file for use in emulators.

Since its initial Mega Drive release in 2018, Bitmap Bureau has shown no signs of slowing down in getting Xeno Crisis on as many retro systems as possible. The release of Xeno Crisis on the GBA now means the game is available on Mega Drive, Neo Geo CD, Neo Geo MVS/AES, SNES, N64, Dreamcast and GameCube.
