Apple Unreleased Tetris Clone for iPod Has Been Found

When Apple introduced the iPod MP3 player, it discovered additional uses for its LCD display, such as gaming. The company developed its own version of Tetris called “Stacker” to release alongside the 3rd-generation iPod in 2003, but the plan was never realized. Tetris eventually became officially available on the iPod, making the in-house clone unnecessary. However, the YouTube channel “Apple Demo” managed to retrieve a version of Stacker, showcasing it on a prototype model of the 3rd-gen iPod from 2003. The video demonstrates the basic nature of this version of Tetris, along with other games like Block0, Chopper, and Klondike also present on the prototype device. Apple Demo may cover these games in the future as well.

I'm Mubarak AlSabah, born in '87, and I'm a big fan of retro games. I’ve been gaming since '93, so it's been a lifelong passion for me. Collecting retro games is my favorite hobby, and I have a great collection that takes you back in time. In addition to gaming, I also have 830+ premium domain names, which is another hobby that I love just as much. I started collecting domains in '97, combining my interest in the digital world with my love for nostalgic gaming.
