Rumiko Takahashi’s popular manga series “Ranma 1/2” is getting a new animated version, which has fans very excited. This follows Takahashi’s previous successful manga like “Urusei Yatsura,” “Maison Ikkoku,” and “Inuyasha.” “Ranma 1/2” was first published from 1987 to 1996 in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” and was also made into an anime in 1989, quickly becoming a favorite among fans.
The story of “Ranma 1/2” follows the adventures of Ranma, who arrives at the Tendo Dojo in Japan with his father after training in China. Ranma has a curse that turns him into a girl when splashed with cold water and back into a boy when exposed to hot water. As Ranma and his companions interact with a diverse array of characters, the martial arts romantic comedy unfolds, offering a mix of laughter, tears, and occasional romance. The timeless appeal of the series continues to captivate audiences, with a new anime adaptation announced recently, accompanied by a special teaser PV for “Ranma 1/2.“
