Unboxathon is a new pixel-art cozy game from developer Skye <3 and publisher EVIL CORP GAMES, due for release on Steam, although no date has been set yet. In Unboxathon, players will unlock, unload, and upgrade through mystery box opening! A new demo, released alongside a new trailer, is available to download from the game’s Steam page now.

In this chill and cozy clicker, Players will rifle through oodles of randomized boxes, uncovering sellable treasure and trinkets on the search for their missing childhood plush. They’ll collect mystery boxes from each bubble before cutting them open and sifting through the packaging to acquire loot such as futuristic helmets, pairs of comfy socks, and even magical artifacts. 

They can then sell these on and use the profit to gain boxes with a better quality of loot, gameplay-changing bubbles, and stat-boosting upgrades such as the number of bubbles spawning per second, chain reactions, ricochets, and more.
