Vice: Magic City Mayhem is a new pixel art Zelda-inspired adventure game from developer Jurassic Sunset Games that is currently seeking funding via a Kickstarter campaign. The developer has described Vice: Magic City Mayhem as “a Zelda-like fused with GTA vibes”. It is due for release in 2026 and will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox.
The story in Vice: Magic City Mayhem couldn’t be more retro. When Sophie, your one true love, vanishes under mysterious circumstances, you step into the boots of Dutch, a determined hero, to explore Magic City. Navigate neon-drenched streets, unravel corruption, and face chaos to uncover the truth and rescue Sophie.
Players will explore a vibrant neon-lit city as they embark on an 8-bit retro quest. Making their way through bustling nightclubs, pixel-perfect beaches, and raptor-infested yachts. The graphics, sounds, and gameplay tropes look great from the trailer, and we’ll make sure to keep tabs on this one.
