The Loopler is a new pixel art roguelite title from developer Mheep that is due for release for Steam in the first quarter of 2026. The developer has described The Loopler as bringing “a fresh twist to idle roguelite gameplay” and that it “blends relaxed automation with strategic build-crafting”. Players guide a looping car through endlessly evolving tracks to achieve the longest and most optimized runs possible. Each loop scores points to eventually reach the score goal for that round.
During play in The Loopler, players will get upgrades, place gates, and engage in other mechanics to gather gold to spend on enhancing their runs to be even better and last longer. After every run, they’ll take their hard-earned currency to unlock permanent upgrades that can appear in subsequent runs. Players will also optimise runs for peak efficiency to go infinite or just sit back and relax as the mesmerising loops happen before their eyes.
