AfterQuest is a new roguelite RPG from developer Ember Arcade and publisher Skystone Games, due for release on Steam. The developer has described it as a “fast-paced roguelite RPG with tactical, turn-based combat” and that it plays like “Darkest Dungeon meets the vibrant pixel-art charm of Sea of Stars”. AfterQuest was recently highlighted at The MIX x Kinda Funny Spring Game Showcase 2026 this past Monday.

In a press statement, Ember Arcade said. “The game takes place in a fantasy world where the legendary heroes defeated the Dark Lord, but skipped every single side quest. Villagers are still waiting for help, relics are still missing, and rumors say the Dark Lord may have respawned. It’s time for a new generation of adventurers to finish the job.”
