Among Ashes is a retro-inspired horror title that was released on PC and consoles late last year. Now, developer Rat Cliff, along with publisher SelectaPlay, has announced that the well-received jump scar game is getting a physical release on PlayStation 5. The standard edition is available now at selected retailers and includes the whole game on the disc.
The developer has described Among Ashes as a “terrifying journey across two worlds. With a horror game inside of a horror game, you have to survive the Night Call manor while facing the paranormal forces attached to the game in your own home”.
In Among Ashes, players explore two disturbing realities: the cursed, retro-style horror game Night Call and the increasingly haunted “real world” outside of it. As they unravel the origins of Night Call and its mysterious creator, they’ll be forced to question what’s real, what’s not, and whether they can survive either world.
