Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition: Tribute to Dev Emil Morel

In July 2023, Emil Morel passed away suddenly at 40. He had been with Ubisoft Montpellier since 2009, serving as the lead game designer for Rayman Legends and creative director for Beyond Good & Evil 2.

In honor of Morel, Ubisoft included an Easter egg in Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition – a floral bouquet and a letter placed on a bench on planet Hyllis.
