Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons is a new platform puzzle title from publisher Arc Systems Works in collaboration with Taito. In a press statement, Arc System Works said. “Taito‘s bubble action game series, Bubble Bobble, returns in a completely new game! More quests, more power! An all-new Bubble Bobble experience!” There has been no set release date for the game; we only know it will come in 2026. 

In Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons, players take control of Bub, on member of the famous dinosaur duo from the series. They take Bub on a grand adventure through sweet dungeons that change every time a game is started. Players will blow bubbles to catch enemies, then use horns and spikes to burst the bubbles and beat them. Bubbles ride the wind, and players can jump off to high places by riding bubbles.

The game is set to release on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5, although some of the information suggests it has yet to be confirmed if Bubble Bobble Sugar Dungeons is heading to Nintendo’s aging handheld.
