Comedy Central greenlit 10 Episode Animated Series Based on Golden Axe

Comedy Central is making a new cartoon show from the “Golden Axe” video game according to Variety. Mike McMahan and Joe Chandler are making it together. It’ll have voices from actors like Matthew Rhys and Danny Pudi.

They’re making 10 episodes about heroes fighting the bad giant, Death Adder. McMahan and Chandler will write it, and Titmouse will draw the animations. It’s the first time “Golden Axe” becomes a show. The main heroes all have special qualities that make them stand out. This news comes just as they’ve said “Star Trek: Lower Decks,” another show by McMahan, will finish after season five.
