CritterGarden is a new pixel art cozy title from developer Minjonia Studios. The creature-collecting farming-style simulation is out now on Steam, and there is also a demo to try before you buy. CritterGarden started out as a passion project inspired by other cozy games, such as Viva Piñata. It the developed into a full game, with its own ideas and features, that solo dev Minjonia Studios is “thrilled to share with audiences”
What begins as a simple mission in outer space takes a turn when a shipwreck leaves players stranded on a lifeless planet. Players will lend a helping hand by putting their astrobiologist skills to good use: Gather plants, animals, recipes, and research upgrades to help the planet feel alive once again. Collect, breed, and evolve up to 96 cute and quirky Critters. They’ll also need to recover the lost parts of their ship for a safe return home.
