D2 was a horror survival title released for the Dreamcast in 1999. The soundtrack has always been praised for its eerie sense of doom that complements the gameplay. Now, the excellent soundtrack, composed by veteran Kenji Eno, is getting a new release on vinyl thanks to premium publishers Lost In Cult.

Carefully curated and remastered from the original soundtrack materials, D2 Best Selection showcases Eno’s singular approach to music and atmosphere, blending ambient minimalism, emotional piano themes, and experimental rhythm sketches to form a sound world unlike any other in late-90s gaming.

It’s the latest release to the Kenji Eno soundworks archive that Lost In Cult has been releasing, and is now available to pre-order. It contains three discs and comes complete with exclusive liner notes featuring a newly recorded interview with former WARP members, including Takeshi Nozue, a celebrated animation director known for his work on the Final Fantasy series. It also includes new artwork from Thinh Dinh, designed especially for this new release.
