We had a real blast with Deadly Days: Roadtrip when we took a quick look back in September. Now developer Pixelsplit has announced a huge update that fixes bugs and adds a bundle of new content for the festive season. The news has come as Deadly Days: Roadtrip has been selected to take part in Bullet Heaven Fest 3.0. The festival, running on Steam until December 11, will feature games from over 450 developers and an unprecedented lineup of games with discounts of up to 80%.
In a press statement, the publisher and developer said. “Sidekick Publishing and developer Pixelsplit are pleased to unveil the latest content updates to hit Early Access zombie-bullet heaven-roguelite, Deadly Days: Roadtrip. Since launching on Steam in Early Access on September 22, Deadly Days: Roadtrip clocked up over 100,000 players in its first week of release with an impressive peak concurrent player count of 7,500.”

The Santa character can be unlocked by defeating the boss in the new snow biome, set as the first run boss by default with the new update for the festive season.
