Back in April this year, we brought you the news that Desert Race Adventure was zooming onto Steam later in 2025. Now, as part of the upcoming Steam Racing Fest, Desert Race Adventure has a brand new demo to give players a test drive of this unique title. The demo is out now and available on the game’s Steam or Itch.io page.
Developer Firedrake Games, along with publisher Black Smoke Studios, has described the strategy racing sim as “The Oregon Trail meets Dakar Rally”. They also describe it as a “retro-inspired strategic adventure game with a roguelike twist”. We don’t know much more about the pixel art title, so those interested should be revving up the demo to get a better glimpse of what’s under the hood.
