Juicy GBA Platformer Discrete Orange Gets Digital Release

discrete orange

We first reported on Discrete Orange back in April this year when we reported on the physical release of the game jam-winning GBA puzzle platformer. Since then, publisher Incube8 Games, alongside developer Tardigrade, has announced that the digital version of the game is now out. The digital file can be used for emulators and with SD card reading carts for the GBA. Those wanting to try before they buy can also try the demo, which is available for free now.

The action unfolds in a discrete, turn-based world, where all movement is non-continuous. Answering the call for adventure and their love of sweets, a cute little orange embarks on a mission to refill its chocolate stash, scattered across 20 puzzle-filled levels. In this world, enemies and platforms only move when the orange moves, turning each step into a strategic and fun challenge.

There was also further news on the remaining physical versions awaiting to be shipped to pre-order customers. In a press statement, Incube8 Games said. “We are in the middle of production for the Standard Edition, so the Box version will be available in a few weeks from now.”
