End of an Era: Nintendo 3DS and Wii U Online Services Set to Shut Down

On April 8, 2024, at 4pm PDT, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U games will no longer support online features. This means you won’t be able to play with others online, access internet rankings, or download game data. Online services for Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter are still available, but they could be discontinued later on. Visit the Nintendo support website for more info.

*Note: It will close on the 9th for Japanese version.
