We’ve been following the release of Haunted Lands, a new pixel art title from developer Alevgor and publisher Alawar. In a recent press release, it has now confirmed that Haunted Lands will release on Steam on March 10th, 2026. The developer has described the game as ”blood-soaked” and that players will “face hordes of challenging enemies in this hardcore retro platformer”.

Haunted Lands was first announced in March 2025, and it’s great to see this retro title finally coming out. In the press release, the developer also said. “Launching after a successful demo in February’s Steam Next Fest, you’ll be able to dive into this fully realized platformer and fight to protect these perilous burial grounds once and for all. Haunted Lands is a solo-developed project by Alevgor, where every system, encounter, and detail is built by one developer.”
