Majora’s Mask Turned Into Native PC Port With N64: Recompiled Tool

To recreate the Zelda 64 Spaceworld beta, a significant amount of work was involved compared to the native PC port of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, which only required the N64: Recompiled tool. All that’s needed for the PC port is a GPU supporting Direct3D 12.0 (Shader Model 6) or Vulkan 1.2, like a GeForce GT 630, Radeon HD 7750, Intel HD 510 (Skylake), and others. Along with the recompiler, a ROM of the North American version of the game is essential. By simply loading the ROM from the main menu, N64: Recompiled automatically loads the assets from the provided copy, eliminating the need for a separate extraction step or manual game-building process.
