DeadMau5 & Atari Collab Meowingtons’ Revenge Out Now

Meowingtons' Revenge packshot

Meowingtons’ Revenge is a new, rather unlikely, collaboration between Deadmau5 and Atari in the form of a (sort of) new Atari 7800 game!

Meowingtons’ Revenge is a unique spin on Atari’s 1982 classic Food Fight, but starring Deadmau5 himself, along with his four cats.

The game is available now on a collectible black game cartridge, with an exclusive keychain and patch.
It seems that our retro gaming hobby is getting hip all of a sudden! Just yesterday we reported on a collaboration between Capcom, HyperMegaTech and the New York fashion brand Kith, and now, Atari has teamed up with one of the world’s hottest DJs and producers of electronic music, Deadmau5!

The Meowingtons’ Revenge cartridge is  compatible with Atari 7800+, Atari 7800, and Atari 2600+ consoles. The game is out now and is available to order from Atari’s website.
The game isn’t Deadmau5’s first foray into the world of video games. As well as his tracks being featured on several video game soundtracks, Deadmau5 has also made cameo appearances in games such as Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff and Goat Simulator.

Atari really has been focusing on its classic 1980s 8-bit consoles such as the Atari 7800 recently, with the release of the Atari 7800+, on which we previously reported, along with a slew of new cartridge releases that are compatible with Atari’s new hardware and Atari’s original 1980s consoles, on which we have also previously reported.
