MicroProse, a Company With a Long History in Gaming, is Releasing a New Game Called Cleared Hot, Which is Inspired By Desert Strike

MicroProse has announced it will publish Cleared Hot, a new helicopter shooter from Cfinger Games. This game serves as a spiritual successor to the beloved Desert Strike series from the early 1990s. Cleared Hot aims to recapture the nostalgia of the original while adding modern gameplay elements.

The game blends classic arcade shooter action with updated physics-based mechanics and light tactical features. Players will pilot helicopters across various dynamic battlefields, using a new rope and magnet system to interact with the environment. This allows for creative actions like lifting vehicles and redirecting heat-seeking missiles.

Cleared Hot offers a captivating single-player campaign with customizable helicopters and missions set in three unique biomes: Desert, Jungle, and Arctic. Players can encounter various enemy vehicles, such as tanks, boats, and fighter jets, during both day and night missions.

This game aims to fill the void left by the Desert Strike series, which hasn’t had a new entry in over 27 years. It combines exciting physics-driven action with strategic gameplay, providing a fresh yet familiar experience for genre fans.
