Pixel Art Crafting Title Necesse Leaves Early Access After Huge Success

Necesse

Necesse has been a huge success for developer Fair Games ApS. During its long, five-year, early access phase, it has been downloaded over 1.5 million times on Steam and has a large community behind it. Now, the game is getting ready to leave early access and has a host of updates and extras being added for the first official release.

In Necesse, players will build, quest, and conquer across an infinite, procedurally generated world. It’s a top-down sandbox action-adventure game, with settlements to establish and dungeons to explore. Players can go it alone or with friends and fight monsters and bosses, mine rare ores, craft magical equipment, build an army, recruit specialists for your colony, and lots more.

Ket features added to full release:

Infinite seamless world: In 1.0, the world of Necesse is getting a massive overhaul that the community has been asking for for a long time: Instead of the current island-based worlds with small loading screens between them, the whole world will be connected into an infinite, seamless world to explore.

Settler interactions: The settlers in the world of Necesse are getting an upgrade and will now interact with each other through emotes. Listen to them talk about love, life, and burgers?

Expanded end-game “Incursion” system: Adventurers will have access to a new talent tree that will hopefully let them face their biggest challenge yet: the final boss!
