PS5 Expands Compatibility: Play PS3 Games Directly

Sony is gearing up to unveil a surprise for the PS5 — a selection of PS3 games will soon be playable natively on the console, not through cloud streaming. Insider Shpeshal_Nick shared this news on the XboxEra podcast, suggesting that Sony has mastered backward compatibility, similar to how Xbox has handled Xbox 360 titles on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The specific games that will be available in this release are yet to be announced.
