Smith & Dungeon: Crafting the Legendary Weapons is a hack-and-slash roguelite game released on Steam earlier this year. It has now been confirmed by developer Zoo Games that the 2.5D pixel art title is heading to Nintendo Switch on October 2nd, 2025, priced at $12.99. The game will support English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Spanish in Latin American Spanish. The game has received some mixed reviews on Steam, but this title does feel perfect for the on-the-go nature of the Switch.
In Smith & Dungeon: Crafting the Legendary Weapons, players control a blacksmith exploring dungeons, battling monsters, collecting materials, and crafting powerful weapons. They will also forge weapons and armor freely using materials collected in dungeons. It uses randomly generated maps to create a fresh experience each time, and players are able to recruit adventurers from the guild, form a party, and take on challenges using strategy.
As with all good roguelike experiences, the game allows players to enhance abilities, change their appearance with gear, and freely add or swap enchantments. The game has some deeper elements as well, including infusing weapons with unique effects using Refining Crystals and taking on ultra-difficult dungeons. These also deepen the bonds and entrust the forged weapons to other adventurers for even greater strength.
