Street Burgers from Street Fighter hit McDonald’s

Street Burgers

Street Burgers is a rather unlikely collaboration between McDonald’s and Street Fighter, who have teamed up for the very first time. The “Street Burgers campaign includes a range of Street Fighter-themed burgers, and perhaps unsurprisingly, much of the visual style of the campaign seems to be taken from the Street Fighter II era of the franchise, which is when the series was at its peak.

However, the bad news is that, as with the Heinz Kirby ketchup collaboration on which we previously reported, the Street Burgers range is only available in Japan, where it launched last Wednesday (October 22nd).

Some The Street Burgers range includes new burgers themed around Street Fighter characters. Japanese diners can choose from: Ryu’s Burning garlic Mayo tamagoteriyaki, which combines grilled garlic and egg; Chun Li’s Abura Gochicken Mayo Chicken; and Ken’s Trich, which contains three pieces of beef patty and cheddar cheese.

Other products on offer during the Street Burgers campaign include McFiz Energizing Energy, which is a carbonated energy drink made with apple juice, and which is also available as a McFloat Energizing Energy dessert drink, topped with soft serve ice cream.

The Street Burgers range is available for a limited time only. You can ind out more at the McDonald’s Japan website.
