Turbo Hatchback Time Attack is a new retro-styled arcade racer from developer Grumpy Pizza Games coming to Steam in the future. Turbo Hatchback Time Attack lets players take the wheel of a turbo-fueled hatchback as they jump, drift, flip, and dodge traffic to keep their boost meter charged and blast their way to the top of the leaderboards of several courses based on a wide variety of environments.

The developer said. “I really wanted this game to be a bit of a “throwback” to the more ridiculous style of racing games that were more prevalent in the 90s and early 2000s. The major mechanics of the game are a Mario Kart 64-style drift system, where you have to charge up your drifts for bigger boosts, and the ability to pull off flips and barrel rolls in the air to earn more boost. Having really enjoyed time attacking games such as Parking Garage Rally Circuit and Deadline Delivery recently, I wanted to make a time-attacking game that has that retro arcade feeling and keeps  you coming back to figure out new strategies and improve your times.”
