Wild Blue Skies is a new on-rails shooter from developer Chuhai Labs, heavily inspired by the Star Fox games. A new extended trailer gives shooter fans a good glimpse as to what can be expected, showing most of a level with a boss fight as well as some cutscene footage from the mission’s end scoring scene. Wild Blue Skies  doesn’t have a release date yet, but there is a Steam page listed for those wanting to keep track.

In a press statement, publisher Humble Games said. “Get ready to experience the exhilarating aerial action of Wild Blue Skies! Formerly known as Wild Blue, the on-rails shooter created by Chuhai Labs and programmer Giles Goddard of Star Fox fame is showing off its modern take on the classic genre. The latest gameplay gives a look at Bowie Stray and his Blue Bombers withstanding a hurricane to take the fight to Grimclaw’s forces over a treacherous waterscape.”
