Star Fox-inspired Wild Blue Skies Release Date Announced For PC And Console

We last reported on Wild Blue Skies, a new Star Fox-inspired title from developer Chuhai Labs, a few months back when a new demo dropped on Steam. Now, news has broken that Wild Blue Skies will be launching on August 13th, 2026, on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation. The announcement was made during The MIX Summer Game Showcase.

Wild Blue Skies is a modern reimagining of the classic on-rails aerial shooters of the N64 and PS1 era and pairs nostalgic arcade action with highly stylized anime-inspired aesthetics. The developer has described Wild Blue Skies as having easy-to-learn controls that make the game accessible to newcomers and genre veterans alike, while its stunning visuals immerse players in a vibrant universe.
