4ShockBlast has broken the DOOM II speedrun world record for the Enterway level, coming in at an impressive 4.97 seconds. This achievement surpasses the previous record of 5.97 seconds set by Thomas Pilger back in 1998. To accomplish this, 4ShockBlast extensively practiced the level in a no-monster mode, honing the routes and tactics needed for success. One key technique employed was “Thing Running,” which involved using an enemy to quickly bounce off at the beginning, allowing for faster corner cutting.
