Plants vs. Zombies has been demade for Game Boy by the appropriately named Game Boy Demakes, on whose Game Boy demakes of Overcooked and Another Code we have previously reported.
PopCap’s incredibly popular Tower defense game Plants vs. Zombies seems like a perfect fit for Nintendo’s monochrome handheld, but as the original game was only released in 2009, so it obviously never received an official Game Boy port, though it did make it to Nintendo DS. However, now, thanks to the magic of Game Boy Demakes, you can enjoy the tower defense shenanigans of Plants vs. Zombies on your Nintendo Game Boy or Analogue Pocket.
To get the Game Boy demake of Plants vs. Zombies for yourself, simply join the Game Boy Demakes Patreon at the $1 per month level or above. For your monthly dollar, you’ll also get to see how a demake begins, by seeing the initial doodle, you’ll have the chance to vote on what Game Boy Demakes‘ next Game Boy project will be, and get your name in the credits in each Game Boy demake ROM!
Or you can go for the $5 per month level and get all of the above, as well as access to the raw sprite sheets of the games demade by Game Boy Demakes, as well as access to the music files of the game.
