The legendary duo of Jak & Daxter from retro gaming have made a lasting impact on gamers, featuring in 8 titles across different PlayStation platforms. Although it’s been a while since their last game release, the Retro Gaming community has taken action with mods like OpenGOAL, which brings the original game to PC.
Another mod called Team Runs now allows players to enjoy new features such as online and local multiplayer, enabling real-time interaction with other players. The developers have specifically designed the mod for speedrunning, incorporating in-game timers, splits, automatic leaderboard submission, and demo file verification. Additionally, the mod includes various game modes for casual play and a recording tool for crafting custom demo files.
